Norfolk is home to 120 Roadside Nature Reserves (RNR), with a combined length of more than 23 kilometres. Many verges contain nationally rare or scarce plant species.
Phase 3 – hub and facilities
Phase three of the development of Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s Sweet Briar Marshes nature reserves focuses on the facilities provided at the reserve to allow visitors to get closer to nature, such as lookout points and outdoor classrooms for school visits. Ideas such as a community hub and refreshments will also be explored.
