Wildlife Watch is the junior branch of The Wildlife Trusts and the UK’s leading environmental action club for kids.
If you care about nature and the environment and want to explore your local wildlife – this is the club for YOU!

Taking part in Wildlife Watch is an exciting way to explore your surroundings and get closer to the wildlife you share it with. We run lots of family events throughout the year and twelve Watch events.

Wildlife Watch members receive loads of exciting wildlife goodies throughout the year. You’ll receive a starter pack and four issues of Wildlife Watch magazine a year. This is packed full of amazing pictures, puzzles, competitions and you get a fantastic free wildlife poster with each issue. There is also a fun website for Wildlife Watchers: Visit the Wildlife Watch website

Watch membership costs £15 for up to five children living at one address. You can also join Wildlife Watch as part of a Norfolk Wildlife Trust family membership. View online membership options.

Are you looking for a new way to explore wildlife and have fun? Join in the Wildlife Watch Awards to earn an award as you complete great activities and challenges. Read about some of the Award winners hereSend us an email with your name, ages, address and which award you would like to do!

Hedgehog Award
The Wildlife Watch Hedgehog Award is a simple and fun way to earn an award while exploring nature in different ways. You don't need to be a member of NWT to take part. Collect stickers by taking part in the activities we run or by visiting any NWT visitor centre. Cley is open all year round, but check online or call the office for seasonal opening times at Hickling, Holme, Ranworth and Weeting. Once you have eight stickers, send us your card and you will get a Hedgehog certificate. You can also complete an online version of the Hedgehog award  at the Wildlife Watch website.

Kestrel Award
If you are a member of Wildlife Watch and you are over the age of eight, you can take part in the Kestrel award.  The Kestrel award has four wildlife challenges - Create it!, Do it!, Record it! and Shout about it! -  and you will need to complete them all to gain the award.  Once you have completed the challenges you will recieve a certificate and badge.

Nature Ranger Award
The Nature Ranger award is the highest level Wildlife Watch award you can get.  You can only take part in it if you have completed the Kestrel award.  To complete the Nature Ranger award you will have to study a UK wildlife or conservation topic of your choice and produce a report for Norfolk Wildlife Trust to assess. When completed you will recieve a certificate signed by Chris Packham, a badge, a mention in Wildlife Watch magazine and a special prize.

All events cost: members £4, non-members £6. One accompanying adult free, additional adults will be charged. Booking is essential, please call us on 01603 625540. Collect Hedghog Stickers at all of our Watch events!
