As Norfolk Wildlife Services is evolving and growing we are looking to appoint an Admin Assistant on a six-month, part-time contract to provide extra administrative support to the team.

Interviews are likely to take place at Bewick House, but online interviews will be considered.

The role will:

  • Help to maintain existing office systems, ensuring that all records and communications regarding contracts, clients, and contacts are accurately entered and kept up to date.
  • Assist with the preparation and issuing of quotes and correspondence to prospective clients and liaise with NWT’s finance team to ensure that it raises and issues invoices to clients when required.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients and enquiries (by phone and email), presenting a helpful and friendly service and ensuring effective and timely communications between clients and the team.
  • Support the Business Officer in the preparation of regular reports.
  • Assist the Business Officer with maintaining records for compliance with the consultancy’s quality control accreditations (e.g. ISO9001, ISO45001 and CHAS).

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have experience in maintaining and developing office administration systems and records including entering records and extracting reports from a database. You will be proficient in MS Office.

Happy to work as part of a team or on your own, you will have the ability to multi-task and prioritise work. In addition, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Our ideal candidate will be able to spread their working hours (up to 21 hours a week) over 4 or 5 days of the week and will be happy to undertake a mix of office-based and home working.
