About the event
Come and join our volunteer Becky on a guided walk around NWT Foxley Wood, trying to catch a glimpse of the beautiful purple emperor and discovering other butterflies along the way. This is an informal walk aimed at people who don't have much knowledge of nature and wildlife but would like to learn more.
Please bring binoculars if you have them and please dress appropriately for the weather conditions and terrain. Ticks are present at Foxley so we recommend wearing long trousers and walking boots or shoes if you have them.

Events will take place in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe. Ensure that you dress appropriately for the weather with suitable footwear. Biting insects can be present at certain times of the year and you may choose to apply insect repellent as a precaution. In warmer weather, you may wish to bring a hat, sun cream and water.
Please also be advised to take caution when walking on a site with open water and ensure that you always remain on the designated paths.

In the event that Norfolk Wildlife Trust has to cancel an event or activity due to low numbers, extreme weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control, we will inform you at the earliest opportunity and will offer a full refund.
