About the event

Commons and village greens can be important places for wildlife as well as people. At this workshop we will look at the laws governing these spaces, their history, what wildlife we can find on them in Norfolk and how best to care for them.

Walk leaders:  Helen Baczkowska (Norfolk Wildlife Trust) and Tim Angell (Litcham Common Conservation Group).

Events will take place in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe. Ensure that you dress appropriately for the weather with suitable footwear. Biting insects can be present at certain times of the year and you may choose to apply insect repellent as a precaution. In warmer weather, you may wish to bring a hat, sun cream and water. 

Please also be advised to take caution when walking on a site with open water and ensure that you always remain on the designated paths.
