International journeys: Exploring the science of migration
Event details
About the event
This event is suitable for ages 16 - 25 In this guided walk, you'll learn about the journeys made by birds and wildlife that visit NWT Sweet Briar Marshes. Using a bespoke resource that maps these international connections, we'll discover how the reserve changes throughout the year and share new perspectives on migration inspired by the natural world around us. This event is being led by Madiyar Seidaly, Environmental Science Undergrad, as part of the Science Communication Module at UEA. Before you attend the workshop, you will be sent a document with useful information and if you are under 18 you will be sent a parental consent and personal risk assessment form, which we will need you to fill out and return to us in readiness for the session. Accessible toilets are located at Sloughbottom Park. Wild Youth Action and Building Foundations for the Future is funded thanks to support from National Lottery players and The National Lottery Heritage Fund. |
