Event details
About the event
This workshop is split into two sessions and will look to provide the essentials for identifying indicator species and physical attributes for habitat condition and enable you to monitor sites using NWT survey forms.
Feel free to miss the first session if you are already a good botanist and have an understanding of indicator species. After the workshop we hope to match volunteers with sites to carry out on-going monitoring.
Session 1: Friday 23 May, 9am to 2pm - Botany essentials, introduction to families, use of field keys and indicator species
Session 2: Friday 13 June, 9am to 2pm - How to monitor various habitats for condition from grassland to woodland using NWT monitoring forms.
