Event details
About the event
Join us for a special evening walk at NWT East Wretham Heath as we head out in search of the elusive nightjar. As dusk falls, listen for the distinctive churring call and watch for the silent, flickering flight of these mysterious birds. Led by our knowledgeable NWT guide, this walk offers a chance to learn about the unique heathland habitat and the species that depend on it. Suitable for adults and older children. Please bring a torch and binoculars if you have them and wear sturdy footwear.
Please note that 10.30pm finish time is approximate. We regret that we cannot accommodate dogs on this walk.
