The Finance team at Norfolk Wildlife Trust are seeking a Senior Finance Officer to lead a dynamic team of three Finance Assistants.

Norfolk Wildlife Trust is the county's largest environmental charity, committed to the protection and enhancement of Norfolk's wildlife and wild places.

We are looking for a Senior Finance Officer to lead a dynamic team of three Finance Assistants. This position is responsible for overseeing all financial processing activities for the Trust and its subsidiary organisations. The role will focus on implementing procedural improvements, enhancing data recording practices, and advancing the integration and functionality of the newly adopted finance system (from April of the previous year).

The ideal candidate will possess experience in charity and intercompany accounting, along with demonstrated expertise in spreadsheets, MS Office, and financial software applications. Key qualifications include strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines consistently, and a self-assured, proactive approach to work.

Experience of XLedger would be an advantage and an interest in nature is desirable. This role is 35 hours over 5 days a week.
