Corporate partner case studies
Ways to partner with us
Across Norfolk, we partner with local companies to safeguard wildlife, protect wild places, and reconnect people with the environment.
Whether through corporate donations, sponsorship, support in kind, or making Norfolk Wildlife Trust your charity of the year, there are a number of ways your company or organisation could help with a local nature project.
Project sponsorship
Greater Anglia
Our corporate partners Greater Anglia have sponsored a three-year project that sees our Conservation Officers surveying wildlife habitats at their Norfolk stations. We have made recommendations for nature-friendly management at 12 station sites, helping station volunteers to support wildlife through the 'Greater Anglia Wildlife-friendly Stations Accreditation Scheme'.
PSH Environmental
Norwich-based waste management and skip hire contractors PSH Environmental have supported a two-year restoration project at NWT Foxley Wood. They are funding landscaping, surveying, fencing, tree planting, and education sessions for local primary schools. Sponsorship of over £15,000 has supported the reinstatement of an enclave of formerly arable farmland to its former habitat within one of Norfolk's most valuable ancient woodlands.
Corporate donations
Bird Watching & Wildlife Club
In 2023, our long-term supporters Bird Watching and Wildlife Club (BWWC) donated over £20,000 to fund the laying of a new approach road to the visitor centre at NWT Hickling Broad and Marshes. This iconic Broadland reserve is now fully accessible to all vehicles, cycles, pedestrians and wheelchair users.
Affinity schemes
Lisa Angel
Norfolk retailer Lisa Angel teamed up with us to support our work on the many Norfolk habitats that support bees and other precious invertebrates. This affinity scheme from their shops and online gift range is now in its third year, with £1 per sale of bee tote bags and scarfs being donated quarterly for work on our nature reserves, County Wildlife Sites, and churchyards.
In-kind support
Bateman Groundworks
For many years, leading construction and civil engineering specialists Bateman Groundworks have helped with the construction of our award-winning stands at The Royal Norfolk Show, with generous donations of timber, aggregates and other materials used in the builds. Last year they also funded a new event gazebo for our Engagement team.
