About the event

This event is suitable for ages 16 - 25

Overview:

Join us for Artybugs, a miniature bug hotel sculpture trail and workshop series from our Personal and Professional Development Club, in collaboration with Norfolk Wildlife Trust's Wild Youth Action.

Meeting at UEA Enterprise Centre we will walk to NWT Sweet Briar Marshes, following the trail, learn about biological corridors, place or look at bug hotels along the path, and connect with nature and the outdoors. The walk should take between 38 and 50 minutes depending on pace. Once at Sweet Briar Marshes there will be a talk on the marsh and biological corridors.

What is Artybugs?

The trail will be made by You and link UEA with NWT Sweet Briar Marshes while highlighting Norwich’s amazing wildlife, and the importance of biological corridors.

As the trail is community made we need you to get involved!

Either attend one of our workshops, or make your own and place it on the trail using The Artybugs Trail map.

When you’ve placed your sculpture on the trail, send us the coordinates and a photo and we will add it to our Google Map!

You can do this by emailing voicesuea@gmail.com, or tagging us on Instagram @arty_bugs.
