Norfolk Commons Week

Join us for our popular annual celebration of Norfolk’s special commons, wildlife, and history from Saturday 28 June to Friday 4 July, with a range of guided walks and talks.

There are more than 300 registered commons in Norfolk, ranging from tiny fragments to 100’s of hectares of land. Commons have been protected by law since the 1200’s, meaning that many of these landscapes have been continuously managed for hundreds of years and are often ecologically rich with wildlife.

Join us on one of our events to find out what makes these places so special (available to book from June).
