About the event

You won’t believe the creatures that used to call Norfolk home! Come along to West Runton Beach and discover the remains of some of the amazing beasts that could be found millions of years ago.

Joining us for this extra-special event is award-winning broadcaster and evolutionary biologist, Professor Ben Garrod. Ben is the author of the heart-warming children's book series, The Adventures of a Dog Called Jack-Jack, narrated from the hilarious perspective of his beloved real-life dog.

As well as helping us forage for fossils, Ben will also be signing his latest book, Jack-Jack Return of the Chickens (published by Zephyr Books) at the nearby Seaview Cafe, where copies of the series will be available to purchase.

Join the NWT Wilder Learning team, Ben, and Jack for this fantastic family event and discover what fossil finds can tell us about the ancient Deep History Coast.
