North Norfolk Local Group - Sea Kale Blakeney Point
Blakeney Point walk for plants, birds and insects
About the event
Naturalist and conservationist Richard Porter will lead a walk along the shingle bank towards Blakeney Point, to look for the characteristic plants of the shore and saltmarsh, and butterflies. We will also take the opportunity to look at the nesting birds and the conservation efforts to protect them.
Stout shoes are essential for walking on shingle. Because of the sensitive nature of the habitat we need to limit numbers. We regret that we cannot accommodate dogs on this walk.
