Independent Norwich-based home improvements company Habify has committed to donating to our Children and Nature Fund for a whole year.

Habify will donate £25 to Norfolk Wildlife Trust for each project the company completes.

The Children and Nature Fund supports our ongoing programme of work to create more opportunities for Norfolk’s children and young people to connect with nature. From facilitating work with a wider network of schools and community groups to providing the resources young people need to become future nature champions, the Children and Nature Fund focuses on connecting future generations with wildlife.

James Hogg, NWT Corporate Partnerships Manager, said ‘We are delighted that Habify will be contributing to our Children and Nature Fund over the next year. Our shared vision is that all children and young people, regardless of their background, can experience and be inspired by nature. We are thrilled to partner with a local company that is committed to sustainable working practices and supporting projects that benefit communities in Norfolk.’

The Habify team has just moved into new headquarters on the Sweet Briar Road Industrial Estate, bordering our newest nature reserve, NWT Sweet Briar Marshes.

Part of our vision for the site is to work with communities surrounding the reserve, encouraging residents to take action for their local wildlife. Crucially, many of the engagement plans for Sweet Briar Marshes involve working with schools, youth groups, and local young people to inspire a love of nature – the very work that Habify will be supporting.

Hugo Knights, Managing Director at Habify, said ‘We are delighted to be teaming up with Norfolk Wildlife Trust on this very special project. Right from the start, part of our ethos has been to work in an environmentally responsible way, and the Children and Nature Fund complements this perfectly. We hope that by giving local children the opportunity to experience nature and understand its importance in the world, our contribution will have a lasting and meaningful impact.'
