About the event

An illustrated discussion regarding cetaceans (dolphins, whales and porpoise) that can and have been found off the Norfolk coast, how to identify them and their physiology. After lunch, we will drive to the beach (own transport required) for a sea watch to try and spot a cetacean and discuss sea watching techniques.

No dogs permitted on the reserve. Visitors with dogs can walk Beach Road, along the shingle bank (northern reserve boundary) and East bank.

Tickets are non-refundable unless the event or activity is cancelled by Norfolk Wildlife Trust. Please be advised to take caution when walking on a site with open water and ensure that you always remain on the designated paths. Biting insects can be present at certain times of the year and you may choose to apply insect repellent as a precaution. In warmer weather, you may wish to bring a hat, sun cream and water.
