Weeting Heath

Whether you’re enjoying a woodland walk or spotting the rare stone curlew, our moss-topped visitor centre is a great place for newcomers and nature explorers alike.

Weeting Heath is renowned as the best spot in the UK to see the rare and unusual stone curlew – but it’s also a picturesque place for a woodland walk or a summer picnic. No matter why you visit this important nature reserve, you’ll get a warm welcome at our visitor centre.

Watch Weeting’s wildlife up close and personal, including our most famous residents, via our live camera feed, which runs during visitor centre opening times.

We sell books, wildlife gifts, and light refreshments from our cosy retail space. Our friendly staff and volunteers are on hand to answer your questions about the wildlife in this stunning Breckland landscape.

All profits from the centre go towards our vital work – so your visit will help protect this wonderful, wild space for future visitors too!
