Visitor centre

Ranworth Broad and Marshes

Perched on the edge of Ranworth Broad, our distinctive floating visitor centre emerges from the reedbeds at the end of an ambling boardwalk through atmospheric woodland.

With its thatched roof and stunning views across the open water, Ranworth visitor centre sits at the heart of this extraordinary reserve. A remote outpost nestled in the reeds, it can only be reached on foot via a boardwalk or by taking one of our boat trips.

Come in for a hot drink, shop for wildlife gifts, or book a boat trip back to the village. Climb the spiral staircase to the mezzanine floor to spy on wildfowl and enjoy our nature activities for children.

Our passionate staff will be on hand to answer any questions or help you plan the rest of your day in this magical, wild place.

All profits from the centre go towards our vital work – so your visit will help protect this wonderful, wild space for future visitors too!
