The morning will start with a short talk about the history of the reserve followed by a guided walk led by the reserve warden, Will Fitch.   Please wear clothes suitable for the conditions. Be aware that it can be wet and muddy underfoot so boots or wellingtons are recommended. 

Explore NWT Thorpe Marshes, in the Norfolk Broads, yet on the edge of Norwich in Thorpe St Andrew. It's a charming mix of grazed and ungrazed marshes, ditches and the open water of St Andrew's Broad. Join local naturalist, Chris Durdin, for a meander at Thorpe Marshes and discover the reserve's wildlife. Bring binoculars and a camera if you have them.

As a wildlife artist and birder Steve strives to catch in his paintings the feel of the bird or animal he is studying in his paintings, to get the very essence of this being who sees their world in a totally different way to humans. In this exhibition of paintings Steve has tried to capture the interaction between the light & shadows and the wildlife therein.
