Event details
About the event
Get ready for this year’s Big Butterfly count (11th July – 4th August) by joining NWT volunteer Susan in Wayland Woods. Together we will discover the best woodland sites to spot butterflies, as well as learning about the ideal time of day and the best weather conditions to see butterflies. If you are already a butterfly expert, why not join us anyway and share your knowledge with others.
Susan will also explain everything you need to know about how to take part in The Butterfly Conservation’s Big Butterfly count later in the month. You will be able to use the knowledge learnt to get together with families and friends later to add your own butterfly counts to the Butterfly Conservation’s great Citizen Science project.
Start and finish in Wayland Wood car park.
