Cley and Salthouse Marshes,

Cley Marshes is on the north Norfolk coast, on the A149 coast road, 6km north of Holt. The visitor centre and car park are easily accessible on the landward side of the road. Entrance is located directly across the A149 coast road from the car park. The Coasthopper bus service stops just outside the nature reserve., Holt, Norfolk, NR25 7SA

About the event

New to birdwatching and want to learn more about birds? No matter your age, you can join us for a walk on the reserve with the chance to see the wide variety of species Cley has to offer. (Walk length approximately 2 miles)

Know before you go

Dogs

No dogs permitted

No dogs permitted on the reserve. Visitors with dogs can walk Beach Road, along the shingle bank (northern reserve boundary) and East bank.

Events will take place in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe. Please ensure that you dress appropriately for the weather with suitable footwear. Please be advised to take caution when walking on a site with open water and ensure that you always remain on the designated paths. Biting insects can be present at certain times of the year and you may choose to apply insect repellent as a precaution. In warmer weather, you may wish to bring a hat, sun cream and water.
